I donated a signed copy of Gender Queer as well as some limited edition prints and zines :) I am going to try and attend at least the first hour of this event. The raffle itself will take place in a vintage shop called Strange Constellation, a Black owned store which hosts a lot of cool events. If you currently are, or have ever been, an SCBWI member, or if you are in any way connected to the children’s picture book or young adult book world, you are welcome to sign it as well. I signed an open letter calling on SCBWI (the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) to make a public statement condemning the violence in Gaza, especially the violence against children, and to do more to support Palestinian authors and illustrators.
